CAMA JOINT COMMUNICIPATION/MARKETING PARTNERSHIP

At the November 17, 2015 Meeting the Executive approved participation in the CAMA Communications and Marketing Partnership.  The participants in this project include; Local Government Management Association of B.C., Assocation of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario, Ontario Municipal Managers Association, LGAA, ARMAA and the Association of Municipal Administrators of New Brunswick.

The Goals for the project are:  to improve communication with provincial and federal senior bureaucrats for forster understanding of the municipal point of view; to increase awareness of municipal administration as a career choice, to increase awareness of membership beneftis of all participants and to recruit the next generation of municipal administratiors.

The cost to ARMAA will be between $3300.00 and $5,000.00 over a 2 year period. CAMA is paying 50% of the cost and the participating organizations will share the other 50%
